Clyde Michael Bandy

With over 35 years of experience in the energy industry, Bandy, 59, has held a number of significant leadership positions in multinational companies such as Chevron and Texaco. In 1997, after 27 years with Texaco, Bandy was appointed as President and Director of Fuel and Marine Marketing LLC (FAMM), a joint-venture company of Texaco and Chevron. During the merger of Texaco and Chevron in 2001, Bandy was selected to lead the integration of the two companies’ trading platforms. FAMM is a major supplier of marine fuels and lubricants.

At FAMM, Bandy had oversight of operations in territories and countries such as the USA and Panama, Europe (Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Greece, Sweden, UK and Denmark) and Middle-East (Dubai) and the Far East (Korea, Hong Kong and India). In 2001, Bandy was appointed President of Global Trading at Chevron with responsibilities over all crude oil and product trading worldwide. He held this position until his retirement in 2004. At the request of the major shareholders, Bandy remained Chairman and Independent Director of the global marine fuels exchange OceanConnect.com until 2006. This is an industry online portal for marine fuel sales and purchases.

Bandy continues to hold advisory positions on committees in Lloyds (USA) and Houston Maritime Arbitrators Association. He has held both appointments for over five years. Bandy holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Texas A&M University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico, and an Executive Program Certificate from the University of Michigan.

Michael Lim Choo San

Michael Lim Choo San is Chairman and Director of Nomura Singapore Limited. He is also Chairman of the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, and the National Healthcare Group Pte Ltd. From 1972 to 2003, Mr Lim worked within the Price Waterhouse Group becoming Managing Partner of Price Waterhouse Singapore in 1992, and Executive Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers Singapore from 1999 until his retirement in 2003. Currently, Mr Lim also sits on the boards of Olam International Limited, PSA International Pte Ltd and the Nanyang Technological University. Mr Lim holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from the Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand and is qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.

Philip Calvin Anderson

Philip Calvin Anderson is the INSEAD Alumni Fund Professor of Entrepreneurship at INSEAD, director of the 3i VentureLab and director of The Rudolf and Valeria Maag International Centre for Entrepreneurship. Before teaching at Insead, he taught at Cornell University and the Amos Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College. In 1997, his book "Inside the Kaisha: Demystifying Japanese Business Behavior'' (written with Noboru Yoshimura) was named 1997 Booz Allen & Hamilton/Financial Times Global Business Book of the Year for Industry Analysis/Business Context. Mr Anderson obtained his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of California at Davis, and received his Ph.D. in Management of Organizations from Columbia University.

Vivian Pearl Johnston Chandran

Vivian Pearl Johnston Chandran has been a director of various companies within and outside of the Group. She holds a Master of Arts in Transformative Learning and Change and a Master of Arts in Organisation Development and Transformation from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She has been an active board member within March of Dimes and was board member and President of the Asian American Women's Alliance.

Sharon Stacey Johnston Chandran

Sharon Stacey Johnston Chandran has worked within the Group since 1999. Since starting at Chemoil she has worked in finance, operations, marketing, chartering, trading and has been a director of various companies within the Group. She attended the University of California at Berkeley.

Koji Takayanagi

Koji Takayanagi is Chief Operating Officer (Energy Trade Division) and Executive Officer of Itochu Corporation. He has worked within the Itochu group of companies since 1975 within Gas Trade, Overseas Energy, Energy, Refinery Development, Basic Industries Group Planning, Energy and Chemical, Crude and Fuel Oil, Energy Sales and Supply, Corporate Planning, and Energy Trade groups, departments and divisions. Mr Takayanagi holds a Bachelor of Science and Engineering from Waseda University.

Fuminobu Oda

Fuminobu Oda is General Manager within the International Energy Trading Department of the Energy, Metals and Minerals Company of Itochu Corporation. He has worked within the Itochu Group of companies since 1984 within Domestic Marketing, Petroleum Products, Energy Sales and Supply, and International Energy Trading sections, departments and divisions. Mr Oda holds a Bachelor of Economics from Hiroshima University.
